Finally, after years of not being able to travel all the restrictions have been lifted and we were able to attend one of the largest Material Handling shows in North America! We were able to send a Team to Chicago to Network and see all the new technologies in the industry, there are a lot of changes going on and we are so very thankful to be part of the best Industry there is.

Ongoing & Completed Projects

  • Installation is well underway for a new DC in Vaughan that will be the new home to a high end clothing retailer, this system consists of multi-leveled conveyor lines, sorters, spirals and quite a few pack areas, the DC is set to be in full operation later this year!

  • Our maintenance teams have been very busy over the last little while and the requests keep coming in so we are in the process of enhancing our WECARE Program, stay tuned for details.

  • We have just recently completed another upgrade to a system we originally designed and installed way back in 2008 for a very well known baked goods producer, considering the equipment runs almost 24 hours a day the customer is very satisfied with the value and quality of the equipment.

  • Wecon was again invited to supply and install additional conveyor equipment for an Industrial supply house in Vaughan. We worked along side of the customers existing operation so as to not affect their current production schedule that they needed to keep going.

  • Keep in mind, Wecon is a main distributor of Dorner low profile and sanitary conveyor equipment. We have been very busy supplying quite a few machine integrators with the specific conveyor models they require.

  • Our resellers have been very active as well, thanks for doing the leg work, keep up the great work and we will keep supplying you with the quality conveyor you are accustom to.

  • Wecon was very recently called upon to have a look into a recently modified controls system that just was not performing the way the well known apparel supplier was expecting it to. After a review of what was just modified our controls team was able make the necessary changes to the programming and the customer was extremely satisfied.

  • The controls team also was tasked with upgrading the operating system of an upgraded PC that became incompatible with the older software that was installed many years ago.

  • Wecon’s fabrication shop continues to remain very busy with the production of conveyor systems, specialty handling equipment and customized solutions.

We still maintain a large assortment of good quality used equipment available for sale at tremendous savings. Included in this used equipment inventory is a significant amount of used 24″ nominal width line shaft and 30″ nominal width slider bed conveyors. This used equipment is refurbished, providing the customer with a product comparable to new at a fraction of the cost. As well as cost savings, another benefit to incorporating used equipment into your projects is time savings. Most of this used equipment can be supplied much quicker than new due to the ongoing supply-chain delays. An example of this quicker turn around on used equipment is a recently completed project that consisted of used line shaft equipment that we had on hand and that we were able to supply and deliver to our customer on the East Coast within a 6 week timeline. Please contact any of our sales professionals for details regarding availability of used equipment, as well as types and sizes.
